Movements are only as effective as the organizations and people that lead them. Organizing for justice demands a rigorous commitment to learning, evaluating, and improving our tactics and strategies. At The People's Place, we provide organizers with the critical development, tools, space, and strategic guidance needed to sustain people-powered movements that imagine and build a world rooted in care, justice, and equity.
Our Growth Center community programs are designed to strengthen the political analysis, organizing skills, and leadership capacity of community-based practitioners across the movement ecosystem. Internally, our Project Development Team provides fiscally sponsored projects with thought partnership, coaching, guided assistance, co-creation, and training support in an effort to incubate a growing ecosystem of local leaders and community-rooted institutions.
