Join us for the third installment of our Spring & Summer Learning Series, Democracy, Socialism & the United States, a fireside conversation exploring why socialism has been systematically marginalized in American political life, how capitalism and democracy became intertwined in the national imagination, and what futures become possible when we begin to imagine an economy organized around people rather than profit. Featuring Brenny Alcantara, Waterbury environmental justice organizer, and Julio Nuñez García, member leader with the Connecticut chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.
